Enjoy the trot around the bases, “Ty”, cause itβll be your last. To play baseball at a Christian university this certainly wasn’t very Christ-like. Showing up the Nebraska pitcher that served up a belt-high meatball in the pimp zone is unacceptable.
Also, weβre just naming colleges after man-made tourist attractions now?
Sadly, it appears that the showboating at this institution is VERY real. Is this what theyβre teaching their young student-athletes out west? Is this what baseball’s become? A flourish and a bat flip after slapping a jumbo dong to tie the game?
If the coach wonβt instill a little respect, itβs up to the umps. Thank heavens, once again, that theyβre willing and able to put a stop to any and all emotion and quell the overall fun levels of college baseball to keep things in order. After all, these aren’t kids anymore, they’re 18-22 years olds. A game-tying grand slam shouldnβt have a player hogging all the attention and this one was a no-brainer ejection. I love how the ump let the 3rd base coach know before signaling the ejection, had to let him know how rude it was. His job was done and he killed the momentum because GCU went on to lose 10-8. What a pro.
